VMI has a full range of audio production capabilities from producing in the studio and on location recordings, mixing and mastering, to providing musicians, voice-over talent, and sound effects.
Nashville is abundant with recording studios and VMI has used nearly all the top ones. This can take the guesswork for you out of knowing what your recording expectations might be.
RECORD PRODUCING
VMI’s resident producer is Robert MacDonald, who is best known for the Award-winning Willie Nelson Peace In The Valley album. 
As the lead producer for the newly formed label Nashville Red, he has also recently produced, On The Dope Again, a parody of Willie Nelson and his signature song On The Road Again.
As a veteran of the Nashville music business, Robert MacDonald has worked with many other Nashville producers such as Larry Butler, Roger Miller, Grant Boatwright, and Ben Keith, plus worked with many of Nashville’s top session players.
Whether it’s a Full Album, EP Album, Soundtrack, Song, Demo Song, Dialogue or Voice Over, Robert MacDonald or other VMI associates will be excited to assist you in your audio recording project.
NEW STUDIO COMING 2020
VMI is currently relocating its studio to the Nashville area. This is scheduled to be completed early 2020 The 640 square foot studio will be very unique compared to other studios. The key feature is “the sound.” Along with all the typical studio equipment like Pro Tools, Muti-Track tape recording, state-of-the-art, and vintage gear and mics, acoustically constructed rooms, the VMI studio will house one of the largest selections of live instruments anywhere. This will include over 40 guitars, 10 basses (upright bass), Fender Rhodes suitcase model, Baby Grand, Harp, 3 drum kits, tympani, full Latin percussion kits, fiddles, mandolins, cello, and many more surprises!
